I cudnt believe my ears when i saw her. I almost tumbled upon an ant while seeing her. She was so handsome…i complimented her on her looks but she said that its hereditary…you get it from your children. i asked her if we can go for a coffee. she said yes. so went to a bar. She said that her father was a big man as he had 500 people under him. He was a grass cutter at a nearby cemetry. He was also a racist as he used to regularly take part in the bicycle race competition in the town. We were talking nicely with the rapist singing his rap songs at the bar. thats when she remembered that she had some work at home. She had called the florist to repair her floors at her home.
Isnt it a funny language ?
LMAO.. I AM LAUGHING AFTER EVERY SENTENCE :]

Lol – Love Online $27.98 LOL – LOVE ONLINE is a contemporary story about two lonely people searching for companionship and finding love in what has become the new millenium’s answer to a singles’ bar – the chatroom. Michael Hargest has been teaching English at the middle school in Cranston, a rural town in northwest Pennsylvania, for over 30 years. He’s divorced and missing his two sons who moved to New York City with their mother. Michael’s loneliness, and growing frustration with a job he used to love, take a toll on him both emotionally and physically. Finding himself retreating more and more into a fantasy world, he begins to question his touch on reality. His unique teaching methods and his active participation in extracurricular activities provide some distraction, but Michael is lonely for female companionship. Out of curiosity he explores a chatroom and finds it an intriguing and fun way to meet new people. Talia Horton is a widow whose life revolves around her four active teenaged children. She didn’t even realize how lonely she was until she discovered a whole new world of friends right in her own home, online in a chatroom. Michael and Talia experience, as do millions of others these days, the ins and outs of chatting online. The story follows them as they learn how to communicate in this new world, from choosing their online names to learning the chat lingo. Both encounter people from all over the world, who are also searching for companionship. They go from the initial anonymity to divulging real information about themselves as the relationships they make online progress into deeper connections. The dialogue in the chatrooms is real. The people who visit the chatrooms, whether on a regular basis or randomly, share laughter and parts of themselves, reaching out to people of different ages, backgrounds, nationalities, etc. For some, it’s a form of therapy, for others a place to be someone else. Following a very disappointing relationship with a woman he’d met online, Michael, about to swear off of chatting, despite how much he’d enjoyed it, spots someone called "B_a_friend" in the chatroom just as he’s about to go offline. Feeling like it was a sign, because he really did need a friend, he sends this person a message, and with that message begins a relationship that will change his life. When stress affects Michael’s health, his new friend, Talia, is there for him and helps encourage him to pull himself out of his depression. A deep and meaningful relationship develops online between Michael and Talia, who slowly open up to each other, sharing their hopes and dreams. They find ways to meet in person, discovering that the attraction and love that has been growing between them online is even stronger when they are together "for real". Despite the physical distance between them, with Talia living in Toronto, and Michael in Cranston, they manage, with the encouragement of their children, to overcome all the obstacles finding a way… |

Your Child’s Secret Language $13.98 If one of your kids gets up from the kitchen table and says "BRB," don’t despair. He or she will "be right back." And, if you tell a joke and the response is "LOL," that’s a good sign. It means, "laughing out loud." In case you haven’t noticed, your kids are speaking a new language. It probably won’t count as a language requirement when they apply for college, but it does help them communicate with other kids via chat rooms and instant message programs. It’s pretty common for kids to check each other out when they’re online, which could result in the prompt "A/S/L/" for age, sex and location. If your kids get such a query, please remind them not be specific with the "L" part of the answer. You don’t want them disclosing details that could give away their exact whereabouts. Many of the terms used by kids today focus in on sexual activity or drug use. These are words that parents need to be especially aware of so they can be on the alert for a threat or actual danger to their children. Within these pages you will find several words and meanings of words. Hopefully, they will be of great value as you learn your child’s secret language. |

Understanding the Language of the New Testament $13.98 The need for basic knowledge of Koine Greek, the common language of the New Testament, is becoming increasingly important for every student of Scripture. Because of the linguistic challenges from translating from New Testament Greek to English, students of the Bible must be able to understand the tenses, moods, and cultural elements of the spoken language of the time in order to appreciate the true meaning of the text. In his book, Pastor Wilton hopes to give his readers an edge for interpreting Scripture and understanding the deep meanings of biblical words. This beginner?s textbook, once completed, will give the student a foundation for translating the entire New Testament from its original language to English. |

A New Language for Psychoanalysis $45.98 "Should be of considerable interest to a wider public, since it proposes a radical reformulation of psychoanalytical theory which, if accepted, would render outmoded almost all the analytical jargon that has crept into the language of progressive, enlightened post-Freudian people."-Charles Rycroft, The New York Review of Books "Schafer’s arguments have considerable cogency. The tendency to over-theorize so that the translation of abstractions into the language of ordinary discourse between analyst and patient has become increasingly difficult is a fault; Schafer goes a long way towards redressing it, and his efforts to include meaning and the person in the form of his language is an achievement."-Michael Fordham, The Times Higher Education Supplement |

Learning a New Language $17.48 “Nothing we can ever say about God, no words, will ever be adequate to describe the burning mystery which is the Divine, but opening up the vocabulary to include feminine names and pronouns will bring a dimension to our understanding of God that has been tragically neglected. The idea of SHE WHO IS brings to bear all the loving, care-giving, wisdom-supplying richness of the female created in God’s image. The reality of the feminine in God is an idea we must consider and wrestle with if justice for all is to be a reality in the world. We must learn a new language.” (from Learning a New Language) |

The New Language of Qualitative Method $11.98 In recent years scholars and researchers in all disciplines have moved away from traditional quantitative methods of research to more qualitative methods which emphasize questions of meaning and interpretation. Considering research methodologies as a set of idioms, The New Language of Qualitative Method examines alternate vocabularies for conveying social reality. It offers a new theoretical view which reintegrates the traditional emphasis on the whats of social life with a contemporary understanding of the hows and whys. The text considers the basic presumptions, objectives, and research questions of four major research traditions: naturalism, ethnomethodology, emotionalism, and postmodernism. Using illustrations from classic texts, it shows how each idiom supplies a unique perspective on empirical reality. The text then examines the risks and rewards of each approach, offering a vision of a renewed language of inquiry that accommodates both traditional and contemporary concerns. Striving for balance, the authors not only contend with issues from alternate perspectives, but provide a basis for rapprochement between research traditions that have often remained isolated from each other. They also demonstrate how each approach may be used for research on family, aging, deviance and social problems, and organizations and institutions. Written in an accessible and engaging style, The New Language of Qualitative Method can be adopted in courses across the social sciences, and may also be used by a broad spectrum of qualitative researchers. |
